I’m Laura Ashley’s husband. Your article’s timing couldn’t be better…..Laura shaved my on labor day. Now when people ask me why I did it, I can say it’s part of my retirement plan…A reason I hadn’t even considered.
Thanks
Daren Ashley
Daren, you are obviously a money savvy person! Welcome to the shaved head club, it’s great isn’t it? Thanks for your comment.
I haven’t paid for a haircut since 1974, but I’m not going to shave my head, just have my wife or one of my girls cut it. If they goof up, it will grow back. We have basic cable….@ $14.00/mo, I haven’t watched TV since 1998 except when I’m stuck in a hotel room or someone comes to watch a ball game. This also frees up time to accomplish good things. That still doesn’t put the money in the bank. You have to save or invest wisely.
That’s right Keith. If you don’t put the money away some place where you can’t easily get to it, it will disappear into thin (h)air! Thanks for the advice.
mark, this will ensure I DON’T RETIRE!
do you have stock in http://www.headblade.com ?
Bill, you might be surprised how great a shaved head really is! And no, I do not own HeadBlade stock, nor do I buy their razors…too expensive 🙂
Sure, you save $10,418 although you spent $15K on those expensive razors!! 🙂
That’s right, don’t spend the saved money on something else or it won’t work. I guess I should not have promoted those HeadBlades 🙂 I really don’t use them…but I’m sure they work fine.
