Meet Mark Kenison

Since 1995, Mark Kenison has helped clients plan for retirement, manage their investments, and make informed decisions about their financial futures. He takes time to understand what matters most to each person and develops recommendations around their goals, circumstances, and comfort with risk. As a fiduciary investment adviser, Mark is committed to putting his clients’ interests first and building relationships that last well beyond a single financial decision.

Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Utah in 1997. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, a Chartered Life Underwriter, and an Enrolled Agent. In 2005, he founded Turning Point Financial, Inc., a North Carolina-registered investment advisory firm where he serves as an Investment Adviser Representative.  As a licensed insurance agent, he helps clients evaluate life insurance as part of their broader financial plans.

Mark also owns Momentum Tax & Accounting, a separate business that provides tax planning, bookkeeping, & tax preparation services.  

Mark and his wife of 32 years have five children and one grandchild. They live near Charlotte and enjoy spending time together outdoors. Their faith and service to their church and community are important parts of their lives.
