  1. A lot is happening here, though we would like to think it is simply a matter of it is constitutional, or it is not. The first day may have left us thimking it is cut and dried. The second day; are there options, maybe just cut the mandate loose? The third day, the question of severability (spelling?)? Either it all goes, or we get to “eat the whole thing”.
Another question has been raised; will any of the justices struggle with the ramifications of striking down the major legislative achievement of our first sitting black president? Shouldn’t the justices be completely objective, that’s why they have life terms, right? Some of late have been sounding…
They should “Go to work, do your best, Don’t outsmart common sense…”(from a country song, “Love Like Crazy”) Hopefully they will do what is right [under the law] whether it hurts or not.
